In einer Zeit, in der die Technik so weit fortgeschritten ist, dass man nicht oder nur schwer von handgemachter und KI produzierter Musik unterscheiden kann, kommt eine Formation wie IronFlame einem interessierten „Musikkritiker“ auf den ersten Blick schon beinah unglaubwürdig vor. Erst wenn man genau hinschaut, erkennt man den Künstler hinter dem Namen.
IronFlame ist nämlich im eigentlichen Sinn keine Band, sondern ein Künstler, der sich voll und ganz dem Hard Rock und Heavy Metal verschrieben hat.
Andrew D'Cagna, aus Martins Ferry Ohio, gründete IronFlame bereits 2016 als einziges Mitglied. Das Projekt wird im Studio fast vollständig als Ein-Mann-Projekt von dem Multiinstrumentalisten Andrew betrieben. Er übernimmt den Gesang, das Songwriting und die Instrumente, lässt sich bei den Gitarrensoli jedoch von Musikern seiner Live-Besetzung unterstützen.
Der Sound von IRONFLAME zeichnet sich durch zweistimmige Gitarrenläufe, hymnenartigen Klargesang und treibende, melodische Rhythmen aus, und orientiert sich hierbei hauptsächlich am klassischen Stil des 80er New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM)
Seit der Gründung entstanden so fünf Studioalben, die nun durch das sechste, Worlds of Conquer, ergänzt werden.
Worlds of Conquer enthält acht neue Songs und schließt sich inhaltlich seinen Vorgängern nahtlos an. Bedenkt man den zuvor erwähnten Arbeitsablauf, kann man nur staunen was hier geliefert wird. Klassischer 80er Jahre Metal mit modernem Schliff. Sowohl Live als auch in den eigenen vier Wänden, sind IronFlame somit durchweg zu empfehlen und für Fans eine echte Bereicherung.
Wir werden die „Band“ im Auge behalten und bei Gelegenheit weiter über das Treiben berichten.

In an era where technology has advanced to the point where it is difficult—if not impossible—to distinguish between handmade and AI-generated music, an act like IronFlame might seem almost implausible to an interested music critic at first glance. It is only upon closer inspection that the artist behind the name becomes apparent.
In reality, IronFlame is not a band in the traditional sense, but rather a single artist fully dedicated to hard rock and heavy metal.
Andrew D'Cagna, hailing from Martins Ferry, Ohio, founded IronFlame in 2016 as a solo project. In the studio, the project is driven almost entirely by Andrew himself—a multi-instrumentalist who handles vocals, songwriting, and instrumentation, though he does enlist musicians from his live lineup to assist with guitar solos.
IRONFLAME’s sound is characterized by twin-guitar harmonies, anthemic clean vocals, and driving, melodic rhythms, drawing its primary inspiration from the classic style of the 1980s New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM).
Since its inception, the project has produced five studio albums, now joined by a sixth: *Worlds of Conquer*.
*Worlds of Conquer* features eight new songs and follows seamlessly in the footsteps of its predecessors. Given the aforementioned production process, the quality of the output is truly impressive—classic 80s metal with a modern polish. Whether experienced live or at home, IronFlame comes highly recommended and is a genuine treat for fans.
