Lust auf Rock, gemischt mit Punk, der weit ab vom Mainstream läuft und dennoch funktioniert? Dann könnten To the Max! aus Italien, Verona, dass Richtige für dich/euch sein. Das Trio experimentiert mit Action Rock, knackigen Hard-Rock-Riffs, ansteckenden Funk-Grooves und rohen Punk-Attitüde. Diese Mischung setzen sie dann zu einem tatsächlich interessanten Mix zusammen und rocken sich mittlerweile durch ihr zweits Studioalbum. Hierbei versucht man sehr gekonnt Wiederholungen zu vermeiden und erzielt so eine etwas andere Art den Rock zu spielen, der auf seine eigene Art zu gefallen weiß und den gewillten Hörer mitreißt. Die drei Mitglieder, Alessandro Marchi (Drums, Vocals), Nicola Marchi an der Gitarre (Vocals) und Mattia Fraccaroli am Bass und als Background-Sänger, wuchsen in vorherigen Projekten auf, die von Thrash über Black Metal bis hin zu Sleaze Rock reichten, und führten dazu, dass sie Bühnen teilten und zusammenarbeiteten. So gründeten sie 2020, To the Max!, was 2022 nach einer 2021 fertiggestellten Fünf Track Demo und einigen Liveauftritten in Pubs und Bars zur Veröffentlichung ihres Debüts, „Midnight Tea“ welches zuerst über ihre eigenen und 2024 dann Digital veröffentlicht wurde, führte. Nach weiteren Liveauftritten und intensievem Songwriting, erschien nun gestern ihr zweites Studioalbum unter dem Label, Go Down Records. Zehn neue, treibende Songs erwarten den interessierten Hörer und laden zum Feiern ein. Also wer Interesse an etwas nicht alltäglichem Rock hat, der sollte hier durchaus mal ein Ohr riskieren.

Fancy some rock mixed with punk that's far removed from the mainstream yet still works? Then To the Max! from Verona, Italy, might be just the thing for you. The trio experiments with action rock, crisp hard rock riffs, infectious funk grooves, and raw punk attitude. They combine this mix into a truly interesting blend and are currently rocking their way through their second studio album. They skillfully avoid repetition, achieving a unique style of rock that appeals to listeners in its own way and captivates them. The three members—Alessandro Marchi (drums, vocals), Nicola Marchi (guitar, vocals), and Mattia Fraccaroli (bass and backing vocals)—grew up playing in previous projects ranging from thrash and black metal to sleaze rock, which led them to share stages and collaborate. So, in 2020, they founded To the Max!, which, after a five-track demo completed in 2021 and several live performances in pubs and bars, led to the release of their debut album, "Midnight Tea," in 2022. Initially released through their own label, it went digital in 2024. Following further live performances and intensive songwriting, their second studio album was released yesterday under the Go Down Records label. Ten new, driving songs await the interested listener and invite you to party. So, anyone interested in some unconventional rock should definitely give it a listen.
