Mit ihrer ersten Single Auskopplung, The Hills have Eyes, sorgten die Metaler um Lords of Salem bereits für eine kleine Überraschung in der Metal Szene aus Deutschland. Nun eröffnet genau dieser Song das mit Spannung erwartete Debüt Album. Der folgende Song, Miss Demoness, schließt sich nicht nur knallhart dem Opener an und durchbricht die Wand der Agression mit seinen harten Riffs, treibenden Bass und Drum Lines und durch Mark und bein fahrendem Gesang, sondern schließ auch nahtlos an der Reihenfolge der bisher veröffentlichten Singles an. So weit so gut. Doch wer zur Hölle sind eigentlich diese Lords of Salem, die da gerade mit ihrem heute erschienenem Debüt Album, Supersonic Vampire Pussy, bei uns in der Redaktion für Verzückung sorgen?
Lords of Salem sind, Postel (Vocals), Marple (Bass), Holly (Guitar) und Axel (Drums) aus Baden-Württemberg/Deutschland, die sich voll und ganz dem Dark Metal Machine Rock verschrieben haben, und mit ihrer Musik die Apokalypse von morgen einläuten wollen. Nun, wenn die Apokalypse genauso rhythmisch, hart und mitreißend wird, dann darf selbige gern kommen.
Das Debüt macht genau dort weiter, wo die bisher bereits veröffentlichten Single Auskopplungen angesetzt haben. Das Album, bestehend aus neun Songs, ist eine wahre Kampfansage und ein Schlag ins Gesicht. Hier trifft harter Metal auf treibende Rhythmen, und paart sich mit einer unter die Haut gehenden Gesanges Stimme. Die Mischung aus Hightech-Produktion und Hard Rock macht die Sache noch einmal so Spannend und Interessant. Untergangsstimmung macht sich breit und bringt dabei gleich einen mitreißenden Hörgenuss mit sich.
Ein Album wie ein aufziehender Sturm!
War Marple bereits mit seiner ehemaligen Band, The Pussybats, ein Garant für gute Unterhaltung, so sind Lords of Salem ein weiterer Hit für eine, ziemlich große Sache. So darf man nun also auf die Reaktionen der Hörer auf das Debüt gespannt sein.
Da bleibt nur eins, der Band zu Gratulieren und für den kommenden Weg alles erdenklich Gute zu wünschen. Der erste beeindruckende Schritt ist mit Supersonic Vampire Pussy getan.

With their first single release, The Hills Have Eyes, the metalheads around Lords of Salem already caused a minor surprise in the German metal scene. Now, this very song opens their eagerly awaited debut album. The following song, Miss Demoness, not only follows on hard from the opener and breaks through the wall of aggression with its hard riffs, driving bass and drum lines and bone-shaking vocals, but also fits seamlessly into the sequence of previously released singles. So far, so good. But who the hell are these Lords of Salem, who are causing such excitement here in our editorial office with their debut album, Supersonic Vampire Pussy, released today?
Lords of Salem are Postel (vocals), Marple (bass), Holly (guitar), and Axel (drums) from Baden-Württemberg, Germany, who are fully committed to dark metal machine rock and want to herald tomorrow's apocalypse with their music. Well, if the apocalypse is going to be just as rhythmic, hard, and rousing, then bring it on.
The debut picks up exactly where the previously released singles left off. The album, consisting of nine songs, is a true declaration of war and a slap in the face. Here, hard metal meets driving rhythms and is paired with a haunting vocal. The mixture of high-tech production and hard rock makes it all the more exciting and interesting. A mood of doom spreads, bringing with it a rousing listening experience.
An album like a gathering storm!
While Marple was already a guarantee for good entertainment with his former band, The Pussybats, Lords of Salem is another hit for a pretty big thing. So now we can look forward to the listeners' reactions to the debut.
There's only one thing left to do: congratulate the band and wish them all the best for the future. The first impressive step has been taken with Supersonic Vampire Pussy.
