Eigentlich konnte hier von Anfang an nichts schief gehen. Wie heißt es doch so schön, „Wie der Vater, so der Sohn“. Ok, passt vielleicht nicht in jedem Fall, aber wenn der Vater, Kai Hansen heißt, und in der Metal Szene einwahrer Gott ist, was soll da wohl aus dem Spross werden? Richtig, er greift nach der Gitarre und tut es dem Vater gleich. So stieg, Tim Kanoa Hansen, so der Name des jungen Mannes, im Jahr 2017 bei der ursprünglich im Jahr 2014, vom tschechischen Gitarristen Martin Beck ins Leben gerufenen Band, namens Induction, ein und übernahm das Ruder. 2016 veröffentlichte die Band ihre erste Single ‚The Outwitted Consecration‘, aufgenommen in den Grapow Studios und von Roland Grapow produziert. Bereits die erste Single sorgt für großes Aufsehen und erreicht gut 60.000 Klicks auf YouTube. 2019 dann erscheint das debüt, welches klarstellt, dass man Induction nicht so einfach in eine der üblichen Schubladen pressen kann. Hierfür hat Martin Beck einfach zu große Ansprüche und Konzepte. So kann man den Style der Formation mit Symphonic, Power sowie Progressive Metal bezeichnen und trifft dennoch nicht zu einhunder Prozent das Ergebnis. Fakt ist schon jetzt, diese Band ist etwas besonderes und wird seinen Weg gehen. 2022, ist das Jahr, das vieles ändern und noch mehr verbessern soll. Es erscheint das zweite Album, born from Fire unter der Führung des neuen Labels, Reigning Phoenix, welches den Durchbruch erzwingt. Zu den Meilensteinen zählen die Auszeichnung als „Power Metal Rising Star of the Year“ durch RockHard im Jahr 2022 sowie die mediale Aufmerksamkeit des Senders SWR, der ihre herausragende Entwicklung in einer Dokumentation begleitete. Es folgen die ersten erfolgreichen Liveauftritte mit Szenegrößen wie Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Battle Beast, Gamma Ray, Accept und vielen weiteren. Dort bewiesen sie ihre explosive Live-Energie und eroberten die Herzen der Fans quer durch Europa - bis hin nach Japan.

Nun steht das neuste Werk in den Verkaufsregalen und die Tour hat soeben begonnen. Es ist schon beinah unmöglich vom Sound auf Love Kills nicht gefesselt zu sein. Erneut beweisen die Herren ihre große Klasse, sowohl an ihren „Werkzeugen“ als auch Produktionstechnisch. Zehn erstklassische Symphonic Power Metal Kracher erwarten den werten Hörer und fan und lassen somit keine Wünsche offen. Induction ist eine Macht, und mit dieser macht muss seit jeher gerechnet werden. Dies beweist auch die Klasse des neuen Albums. Somit beweist sich hier dann doch einmal mehr der Einleitende Satz.

As the saying goes, “Like father, like son.” Okay, maybe that doesn't apply in every case, but when your father's name is Kai Hansen and he's a true god in the metal scene, what else could his offspring become? That's right, he picks up the guitar and follows in his father's footsteps. So in 2017, Tim Kanoa Hansen, as the young man is called, joined the band Induction, originally founded in 2014 by Czech guitarist Martin Beck, and took the helm. In 2016, the band released their first single, “The Outwitted Consecration,” recorded at Grapow Studios and produced by Roland Grapow. The first single already caused quite a stir and reached a good 60,000 clicks on YouTube. Then, in 2019, the debut album was released, making it clear that Induction cannot be easily pigeonholed. Martin Beck's ambitions and concepts are simply too grand for that. The band's style can be described as symphonic, power, and progressive metal, but even that doesn't quite capture it. One thing is already clear: this band is something special and will go its own way. 2022 is the year that will change a lot and improve even more. The second album, Born from Fire, is released under the leadership of the new label, Reigning Phoenix, which forces the breakthrough. Milestones include the award for “Power Metal Rising Star of the Year” by RockHard in 2022 and media attention from the SWR broadcaster, which accompanied their outstanding development in a documentary. This is followed by their first successful live performances with big names such as Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Battle Beast, Gamma Ray, Accept, and many more. There they prove their explosive live energy and capture the hearts of fans across Europe—all the way to Japan.
After early internal band member changes, the current permanent lineup finally formed in 2024, consisting of Gabriele Gozzi (vocals), Markus ‘Maks’ Felber (drums), Justus Sahlman (guitar), bassist Dominik Gusch, and guitarist Tim Hansen.
Now their latest work is on store shelves and the tour has just begun. It's almost impossible not to be captivated by the sound on Love Kills. Once again, the gentlemen prove their great class, both in terms of their “tools” and production techniques. Ten first-class symphonic power metal hits await the esteemed listener and fan, leaving nothing to be desired. Induction is a force to be reckoned with, and has always been. This is also proven by the class of the new album. Thus, the introductory sentence proves itself once again.
