Was Frontfrau und Namensgeber, Sängerin Lizzy Hale damit ankündigte, war das Erscheinen des nunmehr sechsten Studioalbums der US-amerikanische Rockband aus Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Die Grammy Gewinner des Jahres 2013 in der Kategorie, Best Hard Rock Performance, setzen mit ihrem neuen Album komplett neu an. Man lässt mit dem neuen Werk die Vergangenheit Revue passieren. Halestorm nehmen den Hörer mit auf eine Reise quer durch die Geschichte der Band, mit allen Enden und Neuanfängen. „Wir weben ein verworrenes Netz aus Melancholie, Frustration, Wut und dem großen Fegefeuer der Liebe und der verlorenen Liebe. Es ist eine Achterbahnfahrt mit epischen musikalischen Umwegen, großartigem Songwriting und völlig aus den Fugen geratenen Drehungen und Wendungen“ kommentiert Lizzy weiter. Heraus kam ein Album voller Emotionen und einem Rhythmus der dem des Herzschlag des Lebens gleich kommt. Rock trifft auf Gefühl und Stimmung und sorgt so für beste Unterhaltung im typischen Halestorm Gewand. So gibt der Vierer erneut sein Bestes und überzeugt über die gesamte Spielzeit und den auf dem Album enthaltenen zwölf Songs. Bei einem solch starken Album, darf man auf die anstehende Tour, die Halestorm auch noch in unsere Stadt führen wird sehr gespannt sein.

What frontwoman and namesake singer Lizzy Hale announced was the release of the sixth studio album by the US rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania. The 2013 Grammy winners in the Best Hard Rock Performance category are taking a completely new approach with their new album. The new work looks back on the past. Halestorm takes the listener on a journey through the band's history, with all its endings and new beginnings. "We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger, and the great purgatory of love and lost love. It's a rollercoaster ride with epic musical detours, great songwriting, and completely crazy twists and turns," Lizzy continues. The result is an album full of emotion and a rhythm that resembles the heartbeat of life. Rock meets emotion and mood, providing the best entertainment in typical Halestorm style. The quartet once again gives its best and impresses throughout the entire playing time and the twelve songs on the album. With such a strong album, we can look forward to the upcoming tour, which will also bring Halestorm to our city.
