Wir schreiben das Jahr 2055. Zumindest wenn man nach der Story des gerade veröffentlichten vierten Albums der Band, Metalite, geht. Wie sich unser Leben auf Erden anfühlt, und welche Abenteuer und Herausforderungen uns gestellt werden, erzählt das neue Konzeptalbum mit Namen, Expedition One, der schwedischen Symphonic Metaler. Gegründet 2015 entwickelt sich die Band immer weiter. Formt ihren Sound, bis hin zur beinahe Perfektion. Dies war auch eine Mit-Voraussetzung für das nun vorliegende Konzeptalbum, so Edwin Premberg, seines Zeichens Kopf und Produzent der Formation. So präsentieren sich, Metalite, 2024 mit sechzehn brandneuen Songs, in absoluter Bestform. Die Story des Albums ist in sich abgeschlossen und wird in bester Symphonic Metal Power dem gewillten Hörer um die Ohren gehauen. Sowohl Produktions, als auch Musiktechnisch merkt man erneut die große Weiterentwicklung der fünf Mitglieder. So macht, Expedition One, vom ersten bis zum letzten Track verdammt viel Spaß und man startet sehr gern nach dem Ende erneut von vorn. Härte, Symphonic, Präzision, Sound, alles geht hier Hand in Hand und darf sich somit zu den wohl interessanten Alben, des noch jungen Jahres zählen. Man darf gespannt auf die anstehenden Liveauftritte von Metalite, die die Formation auch nach Deutschland führen wird, sein. Für das Album, gibt es aber erst einmal die volle Punktzahl, sowie unsere Kaufempfehlung.
The year is 2055. At least if you go by the story of the band's just released fourth album, Metalite. The new concept album by the Swedish symphonic metal band, Expedition One, tells us what our life on earth feels like and what adventures and challenges we face. Founded in 2015, the band continues to develop. Shapes their sound to near perfection. This was also a prerequisite for the concept album that is now available, according to Edwin Premberg, the band's head and producer. This is how Metalite will present themselves in absolute best form in 2024 with sixteen brand new songs. The story of the album is self-contained and is blown over the ears of the willing listener with the best symphonic metal power. Both in terms of production and music technology, you can once again notice the great development of the five members. So Expedition One is a lot of fun from the first track to the last and you'll be happy to start over again after the end. Hardness, symphonic, precision, sound, everything goes hand in hand here and can therefore be counted among the most interesting albums of this young year. One can look forward to Metalite's upcoming live performances, which will also take the formation to Germany. For the album, we first get full points, as well as our purchase recommendation.
