Ist es eigentlich möglich Traurigkeit und Schönheit zu vereinen? Dies dazu noch in eine düster schöne Stimmung verpacken, ohne jedoch das Gefühl der Lebensbejahung zu verleugnen, erscheint beinah unmöglich. Genau dieser Aufgabe stellten sich die schwedischen Melancholic Synthpop Meister, The Mobile Homes. Entstanden ist so das neuste Werk mit Namen, Tristesses. Düster und dennoch Stimmungsvoll nehmen uns die Schweden mit auf eine Reise quer durch das Genre Synthpop und schaffen eine Atmosphäre von genau dieser „schönen“ Traurigkeit, die uns mittlerweile beinah überall umgibt. Das Leben ist so schön, doch auch gleichzeitig vieler Orts so traurig. The Mobile Holmes verpacken dieses Lebensgefühl gekonnt in elektronische Rhythmen, die trotz ihres musikalischen Hintergrunds zum Tanzen laden. Die perfekt passenden Vocals runden das nun erschienene Werk wundervoll ab. Wer auf richtig guten Synthpop steht, wird um dieses einzigartige Album kaum herumkommen. Is it actually possilble sadness and beauty to combine? Pack this in a dark, nice mood, but without denying the feeling of life affirmation, seems almost impossible. The Swedish Melancholic Synthpop champions, The Mobile Homes, were precisely this task. The latest work with names, Tristesses was created. The Swedes take us dark and yet atmospherically on a trip across the genre synth pop and create an atmosphere of exactly this "beautiful" sadness, which now surrounds us almost everywhere. Life is so beautiful, but also so sad. The Mobile Holmes skillfully pack this attitude to life in electronic rhythms, which despite their musical background invite you to dance. The perfectly matching vocals complete the work that has now been released. Anyone who likes really good synthpop will hardly be able to avoid this unique album. We get a purchase/listening recommendation from us.
