Pünktlich zum bevorstehenden Festival- und Tournee-Sommer veröffentlichen die mexikanischen Industrial-Electro-Ikonen Hocico endlich ihr neues Album „Unseen Horror Scenes“, das ab sofort bei Out Of Line Music erhältlich ist! Nachdem sie durch ihre jüngsten vielbeachteten Kollaborationen mit Prayers und Till Lindemann an Bekanntheit gewonnen und ein neues Publikum erreicht haben, setzen Hocico nun eines der spannendsten Kapitel ihrer Bandgeschichte fort.
Und so legen Hocico im gewohnten Electro/EBM Gewand ihr neustes Werk und somit einen weiteren Anschlag auf die Tanzgesellschaft vor. Fünfzehn mitreißende Songs voll im Style der mexikanischen Elektro Rocker erwarten den gewillten Hörer. Neben treibenden Beats und dem unverkennbaren Gesang von Frontmann Erk, erwarten den Hörer die Hocico üblichen dunklen Klänge. Just in time for the upcoming festival and tour season, Mexican industrial-electro icons Hocico are finally releasing their new album, “Unseen Horror Scenes,” now available from Out Of Line Music! Having gained recognition and reached a new audience through their recent, highly acclaimed collaborations with Prayers and Till Lindemann, Hocico are now continuing one of the most exciting chapters in their band’s history.
And so, in their signature electro/EBM style, Hocico present their latest work—and with it, another assault on the dance scene. Fifteen rousing songs in the signature style of the Mexican electro rockers await the willing listener. Alongside driving beats and the unmistakable vocals of frontman Erk, listeners can expect Hocico’s trademark dark sounds. With their new material, Hocico tackle the brutalization and decay of modern society, yet at the same time skillfully fuel it. Thematically, they dissect topics such as paranoia, addiction, betrayal, and the spiritual decay of the digital age with the precision of a skilled surgeon. This is achieved through both challenging and somber, solemn rhythms—at times aggressively fast, at times razor-sharp and calm. But always precise and always focused on danceability. Yet “Unseen Horror Scenes” is by no means boring or formulaic. On the contrary, Hocico brings new energy to the scene. There is no standing still here. There is only moving forward.
