Alle guten, als auch schlechten dinge sind drei. Und so beschließen Lord oft he Lost nun ihre aktuelle Trilogie, Opvs Noir, mit dem dritten und letzten Teil. Viel muss man zu oder über lord oft he Lost wohl nicht mehr schreiben/sagen. Schon eine gefühlte Ewigkeit beweist die Formation um Frontmann, Chris Harms, dass sie ihren Platz an der Spitze des Dark Rock nicht ohne grund innehaben. Mir ist hierbei auch kaum eine andere Band bekannt, die so facettenreich agiert, wie eben die Lost’s. So bewies man stets ein glückliches Händchen im Dark Rock, aber auch bei Ausflügen in die symphonische Ecke oder gar in der Cover Song Rubrik. Irgendwie ist alles ein Gewinner. So dürfte es auch kaum wen verwundern, das Lord of the Lost mit ihrer Trilogie, die nun im dritten Teil ein fulminantes Finale findet, erneut ein Meisterwerk geschaffen und abgeliefert hat. Auch im dritten Teil geht man seinen Weg. Mal hart mal gefühlvoll aber stets treffsicher geht Opvs Noir Vol. 3 den bereiteten weg der beiden Vorgänger weiter. Und dabei bleibt man nicht etwa dem beschrittenen weg unbeirrt treu. Nein man geht auch im dritten Teil einen schritt weiter und beweißt das noch lange nicht Schluss ist und Steigerungen jederzeit möglich sind. Das neue werk erfreut genau wie seine Vorgänger durch die Vielschichtigkeit eines jeden Songs. So kommen sowohl Rocker als auch Träumer voll auf ihre Kosten und die Fans, nun die werden nicht enttäuscht und bekommen erneut das, was sie sich wünschen. Elf neue Nummern, die wie eine Wand stehen. Nun gehen die Lolt’s auf eine weitere Reise durch die Städte und verbreiten ihre Kund. Wir sind begeistert und sagen weiter so und vielen Dank.

All good things, as well as bad, come in threes. And so Lord of the Lost conclude their current trilogy, Opvs Noir, with the third and final installment. There's probably not much more to say about Lord of the Lost. For what feels like an eternity, the band around frontman Chris Harms has proven that they hold their place at the top of the dark rock scene for good reason. I know of hardly any other band that operates with such versatility as Lord of the Lost. They've consistently demonstrated a knack for dark rock, but also for forays into symphonic territory or even cover songs. In a way, everything they do is a winner. So it should come as no surprise that Lord of the Lost have once again created and delivered a masterpiece with their trilogy, which now reaches a brilliant finale in its third part. They continue down their established path in this third installment as well. Sometimes hard-hitting, sometimes soulful, but always spot-on, Opvs Noir Vol. 3 continues down the path laid out by its two predecessors. And they don't just remain stubbornly faithful to the established route. No, in this third installment, they take another step forward, proving that they're far from finished and that further improvements are always possible. Just like its predecessors, the new album delights with the multifaceted nature of each song. Rockers and dreamers alike will find something to enjoy, and the fans won't be disappointed, getting exactly what they want: eleven new tracks that stand like a wall. Now the Lolt's embark on another tour of the cities, spreading their word. We're thrilled and say keep it up and thank you!
