Na wenn schon denn schon! Nachdem bereits die beiden Erstlingswerke, der Deep Dark Indie Rock, Formation, The Halo Tress, ihren Weg machten und sowohl bei Kritikern als auch Fans gut ankamen, war ziemlich sicher, das es auch ein drittes, wenn nicht gar viertes Album geben wird. Nachdem sich das zweite Werk, Summergloom, gar über acht Wochen in den deutschen Alternativ Charts halten konnte, darf man nun also gespannt sein wie weit es das dritte Werk, welches gestern seinen Release feierte wohl bringen wird. Erneut entführen den Hörer, Mastermind Sascha Blach ( Eden weint im Grab, Mansons in the Sea) und seine Mitstreiter über zehn einfühlsame Nummern in eine Welt aus Rock und Harmonie. So erhält der gewillte Hörer erneut beim Anhören der neuen Songs, die Möglichkeit dem grauen und teilweise sehr hartem Alltag, auch wenn es nur für die Dauer dieses Albums ist, zu entkommen und einfach mal die Sorgen um einen herum zu vergessen. Hierbei konzentrieren sich The Halo Trees nach wie vor auf ihre Stärken, bestehend aus beruhigenden, männlichen Gesang, einfühlsamen Geigen-Klängen, rhythmischen Gitarren und Drum Lines sowie einem vorantreibendem Bass. Erinnerungen oder gar Vergleiche mit dem unvergessenen David Bowie oder auch Nick Cave, sind hierbei durchaus gewollt. Für mich persönlich ist das neue Werk eine durchaus hörbare Weiterentwicklung des bisher gelieferten Materials, welches mir sehr viel Spaß und auch Entspannung bescherte und beschert. Von uns bekommt das neue Werk somit die Kaufempfehlung und volle Punktzahl, die es verdient. Es wird tatsächlich Zeit The Halo Trees auch endlich Live zu erleben. Sorry an dieser Stelle an den „Meister“ und seine Mitstreiter….

If nothing else! After the two debut albums of the deep dark indie rock formation, The Halo Tress, had already made their mark and were well received by critics and fans alike, it was pretty certain that there would be a third, if not a fourth album. After the second album, Summergloom, stayed in the German alternative charts for over eight weeks, it will be interesting to see how far the third album, which was released yesterday, will go. Once again, mastermind Sascha Blach (Eden weeps in the grave, Mansons in the Sea) and his comrades-in-arms whisk the listener away into a world of rock and harmony over ten sensitive tracks. Listening to the new songs, the willing listener is once again given the opportunity to escape the gray and sometimes very hard everyday life, even if it is only for the duration of this album, and simply forget the worries around you. The Halo Trees continue to concentrate on their strengths, consisting of soothing male vocals, sensitive violin sounds, rhythmic guitars and drum lines as well as a driving bass. Memories or even comparisons with the unforgotten David Bowie or Nick Cave are quite intentional. For me personally, the new work is a thoroughly audible further development of the material delivered so far, which has given me a lot of fun and relaxation. We therefore recommend the new album and give it the full score it deserves. It really is time to finally experience The Halo Trees live. Sorry at this point to the “master” and his comrades-in-arms....
