Ganze vier Jahre brauchte es um den Nachfolger des Erfolgsalbums, The Last Viking, welches die Mannschaft von Leave’s Eyes nach Walhalla führte auf die Fanschaft loszulassen. Die vier Jahre Wartezeit haben sich aber auch gelohnt. So überstand man auch ohne weitere Probleme die weltweite Pandemie, und präsentiert sich im zwanzigsten Jubiläumsjahr der Band in Bestform. Erneut beweisen Leave’s Eyes ihr absolute Überlegenheit, wenn es darum geht die unterschiedlichsten Styles zu vereinen und somit den für diese Formation so aussagekräftigen Sound zu präsentieren. Leaves' Eyes verschmelzen einmal mehr traditionelle Metal-Genres, indem sie Elemente aus Folk, Gothic und klassischer Musik zu einem fesselnden klanglichen Meisterwerk vereinen. Wie gewünscht und auch nicht anders zu erwarten vereint man auch auf dem neuen Werk klassische Gesangpassagen, der unverwechselbaren, Elina Siirala mit den brachialen und harten Klängen ihrer Mitstreiter und schafft so ein sich über elf neue Stücke ausdehnendes Klangerlebnis in Sound, Rhythmus und Storyline. Diesmal zieht es die Musiker in die Welt der nordischen und osteuropäischen Mythen und Sagen. Um dem Ganzen noch mehr Ausdruck zu verschaffen und dem Fan, diese Welt noch näher zu bringen, produzierte man an den unterschiedlichsten Orten sagenhafte Musikvideos, die genau wie die einzelnen Songs die wesen und Geschichten dieser Zeit, des frühen Mittalalters beinhalten. So darf man schon jetzt auf die anstehende Tour gespannt sein, auf der sich die Band mit Sicherheit ebenfalls wieder von ihrer besten Seite präsentieren wird und somit die Besucher verzaubern und in seinen Bann ziehen wird. Das neue Album, Myths of Fate, legt hierfür auf jeden fall bereits den Grundstein und erhält von uns die volle Punktzahl !

It took a whole four years to release the follow-up to the successful album, The Last Viking, which took the Leave's Eyes team to Valhalla. But the four-year wait was worth it. The band survived the global pandemic without any further problems and are in top form in their twentieth anniversary year. Once again, Leave's Eyes prove their absolute superiority when it comes to uniting the most diverse styles and thus presenting the sound that is so meaningful for this formation. Leaves' Eyes once again fuse traditional metal genres by combining elements of folk, gothic and classical music to create a captivating sonic masterpiece. As desired and to be expected, the new album combines classical vocal passages by the unmistakable Elina Siirala with the brute and hard sounds of her comrades-in-arms, creating a sound experience in sound, rhythm and storyline that extends over eleven new tracks. This time, the musicians are drawn into the world of Nordic and Eastern European myths and legends. In order to give the whole thing even more expression and to bring this world even closer to the fan, legendary music videos were produced in the most diverse places, which, just like the individual songs, contain the beings and stories of this time, the early Middle Ages. So you can already look forward to the upcoming tour, on which the band will certainly present themselves from their best side again and thus enchant and captivate the visitors. The new album, Myths of Fate, already lays the foundation for this and gets full marks from us!
