Uncircle, so heißt Metal Core in der Schweiz. Jedenfalls präsentiert sich mit dem Album, Via Dolorosa eine Formation, die sich den Namen Uncircle gegeben hat. Und so präsentieren die fünf Schweizer ihre eigene Version von Metal und Core. Dies tun sie sehr eindrucksvoll auf insgesamt zehn nagelneuen Tracks, die eine Mischung aus treibenden Beats, harten Riffs, Deathcore-ig, industrialisierte Fear-Factory-Doublebass und Brecheisen-Breakdowns. Aber eben auch emotionale Refrains – etwa wenn die Leadgitarre den fetten Growls feingliedrigen Hook-Charakter verleiht und melodischer Gesang das Ganze Bild untermalt. Uncircle präsentieren sich auf ihren nunmehr dritten Studioalbum gereift und ziemlich ausgeklügelt, beinah schon etwas modernisiert. Wer die Band mag, der wird das neue Material mit Sicherheit lieben. Zum Jahresende, wünsche wir hiermit noch einmal heftige Unterhaltung.
Uncircle, that's what Metal Core is called in Switzerland. In any case, the album, Via Dolorosa, presents a formation that has given itself the name Uncircle. And so the five Swiss present their own version of metal and core. They do this very impressively on a total of ten brand new tracks, which are a mixture of driving beats, hard riffs, Deathcore-ish, industrialized Fear Factory double bass and crowbar breakdowns. But also emotional refrains - for example when the lead guitar gives the fat growls a delicate hook character and melodic singing underlines the whole picture. On their third studio album, Uncircle present themselves as mature and quite sophisticated, almost somewhat modernized. Anyone who likes the band will definitely love the new material. At the end of the year, we wish you some great entertainment.
