Hiermit eröffne ich auch für mich ein kleines Experiment. Ist es doch das erste Mal, das ich ein solches Album beurteilen darf. Einen im Style eines Soundtracks geschriebenen Albums, wurde mir bisher nicht zur Ehre geteilt, zu beurteilen. Na dann wollen wir mal. El Santo ist erst das zweite Werk welches die Formation rund um Dom Le Muerte veröffentlicht. Das Debüt ist dabei auch bereits wieder sieben Jahre her. Domenico Petrosino, aka DOME LA MUERTE, ist in seiner Heimat Italien, eine wahre Ikone des Italo-Rock. So war er eines der Gründungsmitglieder des CCM (Cheetah Chrome Motherfuckers), der einzigen damaligen italienischen Hardcore Bewegung die von Jello Biafra produziert wurden. Als sich die Formation auflöste entstand aus ihr unter anderem Bands wie D.O.A. oder Damned.
Bereits in den neunziger Jahren, setzte Dome sich für die amerikanischen Ureinwohner und ihre Kultur ein. Er arbeitete unter anderem aber auch mit Größen wie Iggy Pop zusammen. Er komponierte Soundtracks für Spiele, sowie fürs Kino.
2011 gründet er Dome Le Muerte E.X.P. und veröffentlicht unter selben Namen das Debüt.
Heute nun im Jahre 2023 erscheint der nächste Soundtrack in Form de mir nun vorliegenden 16 Track enthaltenen Albums. Jeder Song auf dem Album erzählt seine eigene Geschichte und richtet sich dabei voll an alle Fans der alten Italo und Wild West Fans. Es werden Geschichten über die Ur-Einwohner Americas und über die ganz großen Helden der „wilden“ Movies erzählt. Musikalisch sehr einfühlsam begleiten die Musiker den Zuhörer in eine längst vergangene Zeit und spenden mit ihrem Sound einen kurzen Moment der Ruhe und Entspannung. So ist das Album mit Sicherheit nicht nur für Fans dieses Genres gedacht, sondern wird sicher jeden erfreuen, der, der Hektik unserer Tage einmal kurz entfliehen möchte.

Stories about the original residents of America and about the very big heroes of the "wild" movies are told. Musically very sensitively, the musicians accompany the listener into a long time and donate a short moment of calm and relaxation with their sound. So the album is certainly not only intended for fans of this genre, but will certainly please anyone who wants to briefly escape the hustle and bustle of our day.
