The Rock n Roll Wrestling Bash in Berlin

The Rock n Roll Wrestling Bash feat. Lords of Salem
Freitag 10.01.2020
Festsaal Kreuzberg, Am Flutgraben 2, 12435 Berlin

A cool rainy January evening. Cool but still too warm for the season. The Streetteam Berlin, represented by Nici, Andy Dax, Hartmut and Tommy, heads for the ballroom full of uncertain expectations as to what may come. Ultimately, Andy Dax commented on the evening as follows. It was great, but the next time Nici and you invite you to an assignment in the Kreuzberg ballroom, I will check the program in advance a little more closely. Honestly Andy I can't understand the excitement. Just because you once had a bad pink experience ... But let's not leave that here.
At the entrance to the club the atmosphere was pretty good, which indicated a nice evening. A person in charge of the event also gives us hope for delicious food by looking for a certain Sebastian who was out with cake. As far as we know, Sebastian has been missing to this day ...
When we arrived in the hall we were greeted by a somewhat excited certain bass player named Marple who was already looking forward to the upcoming performance. In the hall itself, the ring for the wrestling bash was already set up and the stage prepared for the bands.
Punctually at 8 p.m. Lords of Salem then enter the stage from our side with great anticipation and open the evening. Powerful the sound that is now being blown away. Driving guitar riffs, pounding drums, deeply threatening baselines and the appropriate underground vocals, something like that can be described as the sound of Lords of Salem. What the Apocalyptic Metalers are launching can be heard as well as seen. Fat boards right on top of the twelve with damn cool rhythms that move between classic metal, rock n roll and power metal. We have known bass player Marple from his other band for a few years and have to notice two things, firstly there is no comparison to the bands and secondly the Lords of Salem are a lot tougher because of the fun factor of the band on stage and the audience before them doesn't harm in any way. On the contrary, I can imagine that this formation will transform the hall into a cauldron in no time in front of the right audience. Hats off for the performance delivered yesterday.

Break. Waiting for the climax, the fights of the evening.

And then finally, after a short renovation, the festival really starts. The band on stage led by founder and initiator of wrestling Bash El Brujo, we experience five fights that are fun and enjoyable for more. The in-between sections are alternated by Fritz the Cloud as moderator and two nice ladies who are busy bridging the killer vodka to the raging audience. The musical entertainment that was offered to the audience and guests was once again more than heard and seen. The excellently coordinated band fired a mix of hard rock, heavy metal and rock. All in all a perfect mix of show and music that is really impressive. After a little more than three hours of good entertainment, we made our way home visibly enthusiastic.
