EISBRECHER – Liebe macht Monster
Label : Sony Music
Release Date : 12.03.21
Genre : Neu Deutsche Härte/Rock/Gothic Rock
Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Also Herrschaften…

The time has finally come and I can express my opinion on the upcoming new work by Eisbrecher. Liebe macht Monsters, so the title of the album and what the two pre-singles, "Fakk" and "Im Guten, im Böse", as shown in the video track "Es lohnt sich nicht ein Mensch zu sein", comes with Liebe macht Monsters a real monster for the fans and appreciate the audience. So the band can justifiably claim to deliver their hardest piece of music so far that has been in the now almost 20-year history. Eisbrecher takes a few steps backwards, partly remains in the Sturmfahrt, and still goes one step further. So here comes a rock-hard piece of musical Eisbrecher art, which never changes the style of the band and yet takes another step towards the future. If "Fakk" was already a real punch in the face, "Es lohnt sich nicht ein Mensch zu sein" reminds of the good old crackers of Antikörper or Sünde. What is almost a matter of course on all Eisbrecher albums and, of course, on Liebe macht Monster, and immediately noticeable, is the fact that the band once again takes up current lyrical topics and expresses your opinion in clear words. You can literally feel the dissatisfaction, the anger that has sought its way in the recent past. And this anger is what Eisbrecher make with love, and monsters blow out of full pipes. So it echoes "stop stop no thanks" from the speakers and Alex clearly explains in a duet with Oomph frontman Dero that they are "Dagegen". You explain to the listener which monster love creates, or you just quickly blow up the system. Eisbrecher in the new, well-known guise. This is the only way to describe the new work. This is how the fan and listener want it! With full force on the twelve and right in the face. What is still missing is that we can experience this work live and in color. So C ... get away so that the monster can be released onto the stages of this world ... So gentlemen ... buy CD, vinyl, box set or everything together, start the system and turn it up loud, not quietly, and off you go!
