Corona und kein Ende. Überkochende Gefühle auf Grund von Einschränkungen, Verzweiflung und daraus entstehenden Ängsten. Was kann man da mehr gebrauchen als ein Album, bei dem man einmal völlig abtauchen, alles vergessen und seinen Träumen freien Lauf lassen kann? Genau so ein Album liefern uns nun Mono Inc., mit ihren Melodies in Black. So haben es sich die Mono’s zum einen nicht nehmen lassen, so gut wie alle Ihrer bisher erschienen Balladen auf dieses Album zu legen, nein es wurde teilweise neu arrangiert und gar völlig neu Aufgenommen um das möglichst beste aus den ohnehin schon gefühlvollen Songs herauszuholen. Mit Scared präsentieren Mono Inc. auf diesem, insgesamt 34 Songs enthaltenen Album gar eine bisher unveröffentlichte Nummer und runden das Ganze somit zu einem, so noch nie erschienenen Kleinod ihres musikalischen Schaffens perfekt ab. Es entstand ein Album, welches zum Abschalten, Vergessen und träumen geradezu einlädt und den Hörer über die gesamte Spielzeit in eine andere Welt entführt. In meinen Ohren genau das richtige um gerade in unseren schweren Zeiten einmal den grauen Alltag vor der Tür zu lassen. Eignet sich auch sehr gut als Gabe unter dem geschmückten Baum im trauten Heim.

What more could you use than an album where you can immerse yourself completely, forget everything and let your dreams run free? Mono Inc. is delivering just such an album to us, with their melodies in black. On the one hand, the Mono’s insisted on placing almost all of their previously published ballads on this album, no, it was partly rearranged and even completely re-recorded in order to get the best possible out of the already soulful songs. With Scared, Mono Inc. present a previously unpublished number on this album, which contains a total of 34 songs, and round off the whole thing perfectly to an unprecedented gem of their musical work. The result is an album that invites you to switch off, forget and dream and take the listener into another world for the entire season. In my ears just the right thing to leave the gray everyday life at the door, especially in our difficult times. Is also very suitable as a gift under the decorated tree in the home.
