Ein Jeder Musiker hat einmal begonnen. Hierfür bedient sich ein Jeder Irgendwie und Irgendwann eines bestimmten Styles oder anderen Künstler als Vorbild. So und nicht anders ist es auch bei Mastermind Chris Pohl der schwer von der 80‘ Electro und Dark Wave Welle beeinflusst wurde. Genau dieser musikalischen Richtung möchte Chris mit seinem Projekt namens She Hates Emotions huldigen. So entstand mit dem Erstlingswerk Melancholic Manic ein Album welches nicht 80’er mäßiger sein klingen könnte. So hört man ohne Umschweife die Einflüsse von Bands wie, Depeche Mode, Anne Clark, Human League, Fad Gadget, Camouflage oder Alphavill. All dies transportiert Chris Pohl gekonnt ins 21. Jahrhundert und veredelt diese unsterbliche Art der Musik durch seine persönliche Note. Ein Album welches egal ob in den guten alten 80‘ oder eben im Hier und Jetzt einfach für gute Laune sorgt oder mit ziemlicher Sicherheit gesorgt hätte. Musik die direkt ins Ohr geht und sich dort manifestiert und den Körper in rhythmische Schwingungen versetzt. Halt absolut Oldschool made in 2020. Der Plan geht auf Herr Pohl ein wirklich großartiges Album welches sicher nicht nur unter den Blutengel Fans Anklang finden wird. Und wieder einmal der Beweis, was ein Chris Pohl anfasst wird meist zu Gold…

Every musician has started once. For this, everyone somehow and at some point uses a certain style or other artist as a model. It's the same and no different with mastermind Chris Pohl who was heavily influenced by the 80 ‘electro and dark wave. Chris wants to pay homage to this musical direction with his project called She Hates Emotions. So with the debut album Melancholic Manic, an album was created that couldn't sound more 80's. You can easily hear the influences of bands such as, Depeche Mode, Anne Clark, Human League, Fad Gadget, Camouflage or Alphavill. Chris Pohl skillfully transports all of this into the 21st century and ennobles this immortal type of music with his personal touch. An album which, whether in the good old 80’s or in the here and now, simply ensures a good mood or would almost certainly have ensured. Music that goes straight into the ear and manifests itself there and sets the body in rhythmic vibrations. Stop absolutely old school made in 2020. The plan goes to Mr. Pohl a really great album which will surely not only appeal to fans of Blutengel. And once again the proof of what a Chris Pohl touches usually turns to gold...
