Ich persönlich mag ja Alben die mit einem schönen melodischen Intro beginnen, bei dem ein Jeder sofort erwartet, gleich gibt’s aufs Maul… So ist es auf dem Debüt der Osnabrücker Trash Band Tragedy of Mine. Herrlich einfühlsames melodisches Intro und dann gleich volle Pulle aufs Dach. Wenn so das Debüt klingt, frage ich mich ehrlich was aus der Band noch werden soll. Ihre Richtung ist vom ersten Takt an Glasklar… hier trifft In Flames auf As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God oder Trivium. Dabei vermischen die Jungs ihren eigenen Sound so dermaßen gekonnt wohl mit Ihren Vorbildern und erzeugen somit Ihren völlig eigenen Stil und Sound. Melodie trifft auf Messerscharfe Riffs. Glasklarer Gesang paart sich mit monströsem Geschrei. Instrumental schon beinah zu perfekt für ein Debüt zeigt die Band Ihr ganzes Können und sorgt dabei mit Härte und Gefühl für verdammt viel Abwechslung. Verdammt stark was da auf die Hörerschaft zukommt. Man darf auf die weitere Entwicklung der Band gespannt sein. Mich jedenfalls haben Steffen Bunke der maskierte Frontmann und seine Mitspieler mehr als überzeugt. Weiter so…


Personally, I like albums that start with a nice melodic intro, in which everyone expects an instant, and then they're on their feet ... That's how it is on the debut of the trash band Tragedy of Mine in Osnabrück. Gorgeous sensitive melodic intro and then immediately full load on the roof. If that sounds like the debut, I honestly ask myself what the band is going to be. Their direction is crystal clear from the first beat ... here In Flames meets As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God or Trivium. The boys mix their own sound so well with their role models and thus create their own style and sound. Melody meets razor-sharp riffs. Crystal clear singing mates with monstrous screaming. Instrumentally almost too perfect for a debut, the band shows all their skills and provides with hardness and feeling for a damn lot of variety. Damn strong what is due to the audience here. One may be curious about the further development of the band. In any case, Steffen Bunke has more than convinced the masked frontman and his teammates. Keep it up…
