Was will man mehr?

Well, that's what I call creative. Sanz singer and frontman, Sandro "Sanz" Geissler, releases his debut, Let us Die, a second time in a completely new guise and under a new name. Seen in this way, We are lost is the exact opposite of Let us Die, which the charismatic singer considered a new start almost a year ago and after the breakup of the band Groovenom and caused a great stir, especially in the synth pop scene. Yes, the songs are familiar to listeners of the debut, but they appear in a completely new guise on We Are Lost. So singer Sanz went back to his roots and gave the former synth pop songs a completely new face through the use of hard guitars, bass and drums. The critics could now claim a lack of imagination. He just re-recorded his existing material and is trying to make money again. Far from it dear critics. Here an artist successfully shows his two faces and presents two albums that couldn't be more different. One as a pop anthem, the other as a rock album. What more do you want? I have to say I like both versions. And let's be honest, how many artists release albums that come with bonus material remixes and bonus covers of their songs that were already on the album. Then you'd rather have such a change. For me, on the one hand, it's damn interesting and, on the other hand, it's good to see/hear what's going on in Sanz. This gives hope for a lot and enables a completely new challenge to combine these two versions live. I am excited. Until then, I'm enjoying the twenty songs altogether, sometimes like this and sometimes like that.
