Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

She was best known as a metal queen in the 80's and it certainly wasn't just because of the title of her second studio album. For me and for many fans she was actually the one and only true Metal Queen. We're talking about Lee Aaron and yes, for me personally, she is and will remain the only true one... that also changes the fact that the woman with the unmistakable voice has experimented a bit in the meantime and orientated herself in other scene groups and musical styles. She's just damn versatile. At some point, however, she found her way back to her roots and is now presenting her next rock album, Elevate. So the successor to the 2021 album Radio on was just released these days. One thing should be said right away, Ms. Aaron is and will always be a rock singer and she proves it damn impressively with ten new numbers. Sometimes heavy, like the opener and the first single, Rock Bottom Revolution, sometimes pop-heavy and sometimes just rock'n roll, Highway Romeo. Not only does the unmistakable voice of this extraordinary singer convince, but also her fantastic colleagues on all their instruments. Once again, everything fits here, and I'm not just writing this as a fan, but out of conviction. With the ballad, Red Dress, Lee Aaron shows strength of their skills. The song is just so full of emotions and fits in with big numbers like Barley Holdin' On, Only Human or the still fairly new song, Twenty One. Well friends and fans, what should I talk about for a long time. If you like Lee Aaron, you will love the new album. So go to the dealer of your choice and buy the good piece that has been released on CD and vinyl. For my part, I enjoy it and wish you a lot of fun with what the Canadians have "crime" here.
