Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Hard Rock in Perfektion könnte man hier schon sagen.

That's how it can happen. Where one, Hermann Frank, between 1982 and 1984 and then again between 2004 and 2014, and the other, David Reece, only briefly between 1988 and 1989 had their rendezvous stays in one of the most well-known German hard rock formations called Accept , all of a sudden a completely new musical connection was formed. After knowing each other for a few years, it was almost foreseeable that they might do something together in the future. This maybe has now become a reality in 2022. The Iron Allies name, the debut, Blood in Blood out. And as is to be expected, with two luminaries like these two, one a virtuoso on the guitar, the other perfection on the microphone, of course they get straight to the point. Hard Rock in perfection you could say here. But not too long ago, a writer I loved warned me not to use the word perfect too quickly, because then there is hardly any improvement here. And there is always room at the top. But I can say without regret that Iron Allies' debut is already a real bombshell. Driving riffs, the necessary heaviness and a memorable vocal line form the album, which is thus easily integrated into the ranks of hard rock. If you like Accept, Helloween, Grave Digger and so on, you will also love this formation. So the listener gets twelve songs that aim directly where it "hurts". And this in a positive sense. For me a damn successful work which will certainly find its way into the player more often. Clear 10 out of 10 points and therefore a purchase recommendation from us...
