Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Mein Fazit, Play it loud Mutha… and bang your f… Head!

Tomorrow, Friday, April 8th, twenty-two, the time has come. Album number fifteen of the trash metal elemental force Destruction lands on the shelves of the dealers and promises to be a real milestone in the genre and in the band's history even after forty years of musical fireworks. Yes, dear readers and hopefully very soon listeners, Destruction is celebrating its anniversary. They have been rocking the stages and living rooms of their fans for more than forty years. And even after such a long time, they leave no doubt that their place in the top tier of Trash Metal is more than deserved. So the new album opens with the first smash hit that goes by the name Under the Spell and offers a fantastic introduction to what's to come. Diabolical, the second song of the album doesn't let the listener come to rest and on the contrary, it goes one better. Anyone hoping for a short moment of breather will be taught a lesson with song number three, the No Faith in Humanity, gives no time to breathe and shows once again in the full brutality and range of the band that there is still no time to rest gives. The album continues like this and demands everything that a real Trash Metal fan can ask of its counterpart. In order to achieve this over a total playing time of forty-seven minutes, Destruction use their full skill and professionalism in both the instrumental and vocal areas. The gentlemen also perform songs such as the very heavy metal heavy Tormented Soul or their cover version of the punk classic City Babies Attacked by Rats by GBH, which perfectly rounds off the album right up to the end. It's not clear to me which genre fan can say no here, because this work gives everything a fan expects and wants. My conclusion, Play it loud Mutha... and bang your f... Head!
