Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Es folgten When I Remember und Rise Again.

When Keops released their self-titled debut in their native language in 2012, no one thought that this band, in 2022 and their move to the NoCut Entertainment label with Road to Perdition, would write such a hammer work, this time sung in English, as it is now in the stores lies. How excited I was for the day this album came out. With the release of the first single Unconscious Mind, it was not only clear to me that I wanted to hear more from this formation. It was followed by When I Remember and Rise Again. Again two real direct hits and the greed grew almost immeasurably. Then, in my position as a street teamler, who is also responsible for album reviews, among other things, I received the entire work and I was and still am blown away. The album just sparkles with power and mysticism. The fact that the band's lyrics leave a wide open space for interpretation for every listener is what makes this album and probably the band special. Do you think what sings here or rather not. Is it what it is or is it going to be something completely different? Speaking of vocals, singer Zvonimir often reminds me of Jon Deverill, ex-singer of Tygers of Pan Tang, or even the frontman of Twisted Sister, Dee Snider, who I always admired very much. In general, Keops are reminiscent of the good old heroes of classic hard rock and heavy metal. Fresh wind comes from Croatia to change the world of hard rock and this wind goes by the name of Keops. And so, on their album Road to Perdition, Keops spread what happens when we leave our chosen path and lose ourselves. Now it is important to decide what really counts, what is actually important. I can only say that what the singles promised beforehand, the album delivers one hundred percent and that's why I give you, dear readers, an absolute buy recommendation and hope you enjoy listening to the album.
