Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Yes, yes, that's how it is. Fear of Domination are releasing their sixth studio album VI Revelation in December 2021, and this release is totally lost on me. So I was all the more surprised when just recently the label Out of Line reminded me that VI was Revelation Out Now. Unforgivable as I almost find it. Well then, now quickly write a few words about the album. What the Finns deliver with the current album is once again more than worth listening to. For my part, since the time when Sara Strömmer acted as the second singer, I have been of the opinion that this was one of the best decisions the band could make, which has been constantly changing personnel since it was founded. What this "lady" contributes in terms of power and energy to the already power-defying sound of the formation is remarkable. Saku Solin alone is already a power machine that is second to none, but together with Sara a real front wall results that seems impenetrable. In addition, of course, the powerful and damn fast rhythm of the band, especially on the new album. Everything fits here. Sound, power, melody and rhythm. If you don't know the band yet, you should do so as soon as possible and VI Revelation with its ten new tracks is exactly the right start. The only shortcoming of the new album, and this really has to be mentioned here, with just thirty-seven minutes of playing time, the musical listening pleasure is over far too quickly. There is certainly more, gentlemen plus lady. Apart from that, the Fear of Domination are again strongly oriented towards Pain, Rammstein and even Scooter and bring a colorful mixture of hard riffs, synth elements and their shouts of the two front man/woman factions. My recommendation, stream the album and party hard. And now I wish you all a lot of fun
