Im weit entferntem Königreich, genannt Kingdom of the Fife leben die Krieger und Musiker der Band Gloryhammer. Ihre in Geschichten gehüllten Alben, erzählen von intergalaktischen Kriegen und kosmischer Zauberei. Sie berichten über ihren nie enden wollenden Kampf gegen den Zauberer, Zargothrax. Diese Geschichten packen sie in einen wunder schön anzuhörenden Power-Metal und verwöhnen so seit Jahren ihre Fans. Eine vierjährige Pause aus den wohl jedermann bekannten Gründen ist nun überstanden und so präsentieren die Krieger von Gloryhammer das mit Spannung erwartete neue Werk, welches den Namen, Return of the Kingdom of the Fife trägt. Gloryhammer machen sich nun daran das Königreich zurück zu erobern Es geht erneut gegen Zauberer, Goblins und weitere Kreaturen in einem atomar verseuchten Land, welches gerettet werden muss. So schlagen sich die Wastland Warrior durch zehn neue Songs die allesamt das beschriebene Thema beinhalten. Soundtechnisch hat sich bei Gloryhammer nichts verändert. Man drischt nach wie vor seinen eins A Power-Metal auf die Fanscharen ein und treibt das Album in Gewohnter Rhythmischer Art voran. Fans des Genres werden auch auf dem neuen Album voll auf ihre Kosten kommen. Wer also Lust auf guten power-Metal gepaart mit einer sich fortsetzenden, coolen Story Line hat, der ist bei Gloryhammer und dem neuen Album, Return to the Kingdom of the Fife, genau richtig. In the far away kingdom called Kingdom of the Fife live the warriors and musicians of the band Gloryhammer. Their albums are shrouded in stories, telling of intergalactic wars and cosmic sorcery. They report on their never-ending battle against the sorcerer, Zargothrax. They pack these stories into a wonderfully listenable power metal and have been spoiling their fans for years. A four year hiatus, for reasons well known to everyone, is now over and the warriors of Gloryhammer present the eagerly awaited new work entitled, Return of the Kingdom of the Fife. Gloryhammer are now trying to recapture the kingdom. It's again against magicians, goblins and other creatures in a nuclear-contaminated country that needs to be saved. This is how the Wastland Warriors fight their way through ten new songs, all of which contain the topic described. In terms of sound, nothing has changed in Gloryhammer. They still thrash their one A Power Metal on the crowds of fans and push the album forward in the usual rhythmic way. Fans of the genre will also get their money's worth on the new album.
